Tailor-made solutions are created daily at Outokumpu’s service center in Alfortville. At Alfortville, cut-to-length, slitting, polishing and blanking services using the best quality European origin stainless steel in coils, strips and sheet are all on offer. 

A wide selection of standard stock – and readily available non-standard material – means unusually short lead times. Cut-to-length materials are available in widths of 450–1,550 mm, and a thickness range of 0.4–4 mm.

Custom surfaces are part of a specialized polishing operation at Alfortville, featuring polishing lines for coil and sheet. Coil polishing is offered in widths of 500–1,500 mm and a thickness range of 0.4–3 mm; sheet polishing is available in widths of 500–1,525 mm, and a thickness range of 0.5–3 mm.

Surface options range from grid 120–600, while custom finishes to match customer specifications are also available. Laser, easy-peel and laser fiber foils protect surfaces that ensure optimal quality and functionality for the end user.
